'Dark Magenta'

A deep, saturated hue formed from the tension between red and blue.

Magenta does not exist in the visible light spectrum, it is an illusion, a colour created by the brain when red and blue light blend without green. The result is something in-between, and yet entirely its own: rich, synthetic, and impossible to locate on the rainbow.

The name traces back to the Battle of Magenta in 1859, near the Italian town of the same name, not far from where DAL 1992 stockings are now made. The victory of the French and Sardinian forces over the Austrians inspired a new dye — vivid, red-purple, and instantly radical. When darkened, this colour takes on an intensity both regal and subversive.

DAL 1992 is an understanding of circular consumption. Taking responsibility for where objects come from and where they go.

This product contains a send back parcel for the return of used or damaged stockings. Acquiring new products is only encouraged when it is deemed essential, consider if you have old stockings to recycle.

Consideration -

File nails. Remove jewellery. Scrunch over toes first. Pull from the base up.

Air out after wear. Spot clean. Avoid over-washing. Delicate wash every 3-4 wears. Use anti-microplastic washing bag. Fold softly. Store neatly. Return at the end of life cycle.
